Make Rice Milk, Get Soft Skin
I learned yesterday that you can make a toner from rice water. That’s neat, I thought. And since I was planning on making some rice milk today, I decided I’d try it out. I wound up making half rice, half oat milk since I like the taste of oat milk better than rice, but rice is cheaper. And oat water is good for your skin as well. So on to the stove they went.
3 hours later I remembered that I had wanted to skim off some water but it was too late. I made the milk as I usually do and as usual, had some left over water so I decided to use some as a mask as it was too thick to be a toner. I washed and dried my face, rubbed some of the rice/oat cream on, let it dry (about 10 minutes) and rinsed it off. Tightened pores and softer skin were what I have now. Lovely.
