Rockband in my Livingroom
I woke up this morning to the sound of one of my roommates “singing” downstairs. My first thought was “dear god, he got karaoke.” So I got up, got dressed and went to see how bad it really was. Turns out it wasn’t bad at all. It was quite the opposite. He had gotten Rockband.
I’m already a huge fan of Guitar Hero so he didn’t have to ask twice for me to play. Brandon was on vocals because he has no rhythm, Christina was on bass and I was on guitar. Together we are the Lickmill Licks. Later Christina switched to drums and she’s pretty good at it. Better than Brandon and me at least. We have 3 different bands already, The Scoobies, featuring Christina and Brandon, The Lickmill Licks, and The Affair, which is just Brandon and I. It’s way more fun than should be legally allowed.
After Christina left for school I played for several hours by myself on a solo career on just guitar. And I won a lot of free clothes. Not only can you pick your characters face, hair, weight and height, you can buy or win clothes, accessories, instruments, tattoos, make-up, and face paint that are all customizable. No more of this, “But I want to be Judy Nails!” I spent a good hour coming up with my perfect outfit…..until I get more clothes.
Rockband has taken over my life.
So here I am, the very essence of n00b, starting my own blog. Why? Fuck if I know. But at least now I can share the vast wonders of my mind as they spew forth like so many cupcakes onto a clown. That is to say, sweet though unnecessary and kind of terrifying. Yeah, I’m kinda like that.
